The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that, at the same time, the export of domestic goods for 6 months in 2022 amounted to $1 billion 705.5 million (74.5% of the total), having increased 1.7 times compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, the re-export of goods in January-June this year amounted to $584.9 million (25.5% of the total), which is also 1.7 times more than in the same period in 2021. At the same time, the re-export of goods after processing (clothing, footwear, shoe parts, chairs, electrical wiring and cable, other products for the automotive industry, shelled nuts, chairs and other furniture, suitcases, textile products, toys, etc.) accounted for 11.4% of total exports, and the classic re-export of foreign goods (drugs, cigarettes, wine distillates, whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueurs, beer, fuel, fabrics, knitwear, essential oils, perfumes and cosmetics, vehicles, furniture, etc.) - 14.1%. According to the NBS, for the export of goods abroad in the specified period, road transport was most often used - 73.1% of the total, followed by sea transport - 16.6%, railway - 9.6%, air - 0.7%. In general, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in the first half of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, increased 1.6 times - up to $1 billion 410.3 million, to the CIS countries - increased 2 times - up to $409 .9 million, and to other countries it increased by 1.8 times - up to $470.1 million. The share of EU countries in the total volume of Moldovan exports over the specified period decreased from 64.54% to 61.57%, the share of CIS countries increased from 15.65% to 17.9%, while the share of other countries increased from 19.81% to 20.53%. According to the NBS, the main destination countries for Moldovan exports in the reporting period were: Romania (29% of total Moldovan exports), Ukraine (10.8%), Turkey (9.2%), Italy (8.5%), Germany (5.6%), Russia (5.1%), Bulgaria (4.9%), Poland (2.8%), Switzerland (2.4%), Czech Republic (2.2%), Netherlands (2 %), Iran and the UK (1.6% each), Belarus (1.4%), Hungary (1.2%), France (1%), the USA and Greece (0.9% each), Lebanon (0 .7%), Spain and Portugal (0.6% each).
