The list of Moldova’s state assets not subject to privatization will include Energocom, Metalferos, Arena Națională, Tracom, Athletics Arena, etc.
The Public Property Agency has initiated public consultations on draft amendments to the Law on the Management and Denationalization of Public Property. In particular, it was proposed to update the list of property not subject to privatization. Thus, the list of joint stock companies with a state share in the authorized capital will increase from 8 to 27. It will include Arena Națională (100% state ownership), Cartuș (100%), Tracom (93.18%), Metalferos (78.28%), Energocom (87.15%), Sanfarm-Prim (99.11%), 10 joint-stock companies responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads (Drumuri Cimișlia, Drumuri Cahul, Drumuri Soroca, etc. (the state share in them is from 96.8% up to 99.6%). In addition, it is proposed to expand the list of state-owned enterprises not subject to privatization - their number will increase by 35 entities, for example, including the Chisinau Athletics Arena (its authorized capital is 127.5 million lei).
