As the bank's press service reported, the executive committee of the National Bank approved Nikolay Borissov as a member of the bank's Council on May 2. It is noted that Nikolay Borissov has extensive international financial and banking experience. As a representative of Doverie-invest EAD (Bulgaria), Borissov participated in the evaluation of several banks in Moldova, including Moldindconbank, an institution in which the European investor became the majority shareholder in March 2019. From February 2020 to June 2022, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of Moldindconbank, and from March 2023 to September 2023, he was an advisor to the bank's Council. Previously, he worked as Executive Director and Member of the Management Board of DSK Bank AD, as a member of the Board of Directors of Doverie-Invest EAD, and as a banking strategy consultant at Doverie-United Holding AD.
