From November 1, the Customs Service will begin to apply new methodological rules for processing transit declarations

The relevant order of the agency has been published in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). The document establishes the procedure for the provision, implementation, and control of the customs transit regime on the territory of Moldova using the New Computerized Transit System, as well as in the case of the application of a business continuity plan. The document details the content of the declaration, the requirements for its submission, the procedures for acceptance and recognition, the procedure for control and registration of guarantees, and the formalities related to the release of goods in transit and at the customs posts of departure and destination.
