In particular, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Elena Grumeza spoke in Geneva at a meeting of the WTO Government Procurement Committee and a commemorative conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Moldova and Ukraine's accession to the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). During the conference, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance presented the main reforms implemented by Moldova in public procurement, emphasizing that accession to the GPA has become a catalyst for the modernization of the national system. Her speech focused on the modernization of the legislative framework, institutional consolidation, and digital transformation of the public procurement system, including the development of the new e-Achiziții information system. Elena Grumeza noted that public procurement reforms are an important component of the EU accession process. "Our priority is the effective implementation of the new legislative framework and the development of a modern, digital, and results-oriented system that ensures more efficient and transparent use of public funds," stated the Ministry of Finance's State Secretary. As part of the Global Procurement Agreement Committee meeting, the Moldovan delegation held a bilateral meeting with the Albanian delegation to discuss opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience in developing electronic public procurement systems and implementing reforms in the context of European integration.
