According to information provided to the InfoMarket agency by the Ministry of Finance, the sources of funding for the deficit for the first 6 months 2026 were as follows: domestic sources—8 billion 552.2 million lei; external sources—2 billion 370.4 million lei; and a change in the cash balance of minus 1 billion 714 million lei.
