More than 500 wines from 65 companies will be presented at the 25th “Wine Vernissage” to take place in Moldova on May 15

According to the National Office of Vine and Wine, this landmark event for the local market, dedicated to quality wines, will be held under the slogan “Wine Vernissage. Our Pride.” The event will bring together 65 wineries, which will present over 500 wines to the public for tasting. Traditionally, the spring edition of the “Wine Vernissage” highlights wines that set the tone for the spring-summer season: white, sparkling, and rosé wines, prized for their freshness, elegance, and expressiveness. Special attention will be given to local varieties—Feteasca Albă, Feteasca Regală, and Feteasca Neagră rosé—which reflect the “terroir” and diversity of Moldovan wines. In this regard, the 25th “Wine Vernissage” marks the evolution of an event that has grown alongside the wine sector and its audience. From a venue for presentations and tastings, the event has evolved into a space for winemakers and consumers to meet and interact, where new wines are introduced, seasonal trends are showcased, and the stories of the people building the reputation of Moldovan wine are told. “Wine Vernissage” is organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine, which is authorized to promote the image of wine products united under the “Wine of Moldova. Unexpectedly Great” national brand and wine culture in the domestic market. The event is held with the support of its institutional partner—the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. Stefan Iamandi, Director of the National Office of Vine and Wine, noted that over the past 25 years, the “Wine Vernissage” has brought wineries closer to consumers, created a space for dialogue between producers and the public, and contributed to the development of a culture of quality wine enjoyed responsibly. “In this spring edition of the “Wine Vernissage,” we celebrate white, sparkling, and rosé wines, as well as the people behind every bottle: winemakers, grape growers, industry professionals, and consumers who believe in Moldovan wine. The “Wine Vernissage. Our Pride” is an invitation to discover, appreciate, and support the Moldovan wine,” emphasized Stefan Iamandi. // 12.05.2026 — InfoMarket
