The government has taken additional measures to ensure the stability of the diesel fuel market, and over the past 24 hours, two barges carrying approximately 6,000 tons of fuel have arrived in the country
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, approximately 6,000 tons of diesel fuel are also expected to arrive today. These additional supplies are intended to immediately reduce the shortage at some gas stations. The government notes that it continues to closely monitor the situation and will take additional measures, if necessary, to ensure stable fuel supplies to the country. The Cabinet of Ministers reported that, as of July 27, 53 gas stations nationwide (less than 10% of the total 590 stations) had no diesel fuel in stock. Of these, 38 are part of the Lukoil network. By comparison, at the peak of the crisis—on March 26, 2026—182 stations had no fuel in stock. Among the causes of the shortage are the drop in water levels in the Danube, as well as the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, which led to disruptions in supply chains and affected fuel deliveries. // July 27, 2026 — InfoMarket.
