ANRE reported this, noting that on October 22, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury announced sanctions, which will take effect on November 21, against Russian companies Rosneft and Lukoil, as well as against any companies in which they, directly or indirectly, individually or collectively, own at least 50% of the shares. As noted by ANRE, the regional fuel market immediately reacted to this decision with price increases.
