Last week, the Customs Service provided the budget with more than 551.8 million lei, which is 8.5% higher than the figure planned for this period.
According to the press service of the department, from 11 to 17 October customs officers processed more than 12.4 thousand declarations. Vehicles crossed the state border 61.4 thousand times, and the largest traffic occurred at the customs posts in Leuseni and Sculeni (almost 14.9 thousand and, accordingly, 11.3 thousand crossings). Last week, 184 violations of customs legislation were registered, for which fines were charged in the amount of 198 thousand lei. The most common violations are exceeding the period of stay of vehicles with foreign plates on the territory of Moldova. In total, since the beginning of October, the deductions of the Customs Service to the budget amounted to 1.3 billion lei, which is 43.5% more than in the same period last year. // 18.10.2021- InfoMarket.
