State Tax Service’s contributions to Moldova’s national public budget in January–June 2026 totaled 43.8 billion lei, exceeding the figures for the same period in 2025 by 4.5 billion lei (+11.4%)
As noted by the State Tax Service, tax revenues to the state budget for the first six months of 2026 exceeded 18.3 billion lei, up 2.1 billion lei (+12.8%) to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, approximately 5 billion lei in taxes were collected by the budgets of administrative-territorial units in January–June 2026, which is 525.3 million lei (11.8%) more than during the same period in 2025. Over the first six months of 2026, more than 15.3 billion lei in taxes were collected for the state social insurance budget, which is 1.4 billion lei (10%) more than during the same period a year earlier. Contributions collected by the State Tax Service for the Mandatory Health Insurance Funds in January–June 2026 amounted to approximately 5.2 billion lei, up 476.7 million lei (+10.2%) to the figures for the same period of the previous year. // 02.07.2026 – InfoMarket.
