The State Tax Service of Moldova reported that it had generated and sent 2,819 notices regarding the payment of the single tax for May to individuals engaged in independent activities (freelancers). The notices were sent to the email addresses provided during registration and are also available in the taxpayer’s personal account and the EVO app. According to the agency, in May, independent entrepreneurs reported income of 36.1 million lei, and the amount of the single tax assessed was 5.42 million lei.
