The investment potential of Moldova was presented at the Moldovan-Dutch Economic Forum, which took place in the Netherlands.
Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba announced this, noting that more than 50 entrepreneurs from Moldova and the Netherlands took part in the event held last weekend. He emphasized that the Netherlands is the country that founded the first Stock Exchange and the first joint stock company in the world, all of which demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit of the Dutch. Therefore, the Moldovan authorities encourage businessmen from the Netherlands to come to Moldova and invest in our country. “We have a lot to offer: reduction of bureaucracy, digitalization of public services, preferential taxation, competitive workforce, business support programs and much more. All this is to stimulate business development, create new jobs and increase added value. We are transforming the economy according to EU standards so that an investor who comes to our market does not feel any difference. We continue to devote ourselves to creating a favorable business environment based on sound reforms and transparency to ensure investor success and sustainable economic development,” said Dumitru Alaiba. He emphasized that the Netherlands is among the largest investors in Moldova. “But we can do much more joint business, we can build more partnerships, attract more investments, export more products,” said the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization. He expressed gratitude for the participation in the event to representatives of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, the Moldova Innovation Technology Park, the Investment Agency, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Moldova Fred Duijn and diplomats of the Moldovan Embassy in the Netherlands.
