This is stated in the latest study, “the Moldovan Economic Trends,” compiled by the National Institute for Economic Research (INCE). According to the Public Services Agency, in January-June 2025, 5,099 new enterprises were registered in Moldova, while 5,802 enterprises ceased operations. In the first half of the year, the number of newly registered enterprises was 16.9% higher than in the same period last year, while the number of enterprises removed from the state register increased by 0.6%.
