The volume of natural gas consumed before November 1, which was not included in the October bills of household consumers, will be assessed according to old tariffs, Moldovagaz stated.

The company said this, recalling that the National Energy Regulatory Agency recently approved new prices for the supply of natural gas to Moldovagaz, which are applied from November 1. Regulated prices in force during the billing period, as well as meter readings, serve as the basis for issuing an invoice for natural gas, in accordance with 75 Art. of the provisions for the supply of natural gas. Thus, the supplier issues invoices for payment for natural gas based on meter readings recorded prior to the effective date of the new price or, if not available, the weighted average daily consumption as determined by the system operator. “In this vein, the volume of natural gas consumed before November 1, 2021, and which was not included in the accounts of household consumers for October of this year, should be determined by the operator of the gas distribution system at the current prices of the actual consumption period, namely, applied until the end of October 2021 (4298 lei per 1,000 cubic meters plus 8% VAT),” the company said. // 16.11.2021 - InfoMarket.
