
Russian natural gas supplies to Moldova in January-September 2021 reached 2 billion 272 million cubic meters, exceeding the indicators of the same period in 2020 by 10.7%.
These are the data of the state company "Operator of the Gas Transmission System (GTS) of Ukraine". In particular, only in September this year, Moldova received 194 million cubic meters of gas in transit through Ukraine. It should be noted that in January-September last year, Russian natural gas supplies to Moldova (including Transnistria) amounted to 2.05 billion cubic meters, up about 1.5%, compared to the same period in 2019. As InfoMarket agency reported earlier, supplies of Russian natural gas to Moldova in 2020 amounted to 3 billion 047 million cubic meters, up about 5.4% compared to 2019. According to the National Energy Regulatory Agency, Moldova (excluding Transnistria) in 2020, compared to 2019, increased purchases of natural gas in physical terms by 6.6% - up to 1 billion 127 million cubic meters. // 08.11.2021 - InfoMarket
