Moldovagaz has settled the loan of 1.05 billion lei with Energocom, the company transferred 79.8 million lei as interest on this loan.

Vadim Ceban, chairman of the Moldovagaz Management Board, has said that, thus, the company discharged fully its commitments on repaying the loan agreed upon last October. At the same time, the Moldovagas legal team will launch the procedure of lifting the restrictive liens on Moldovatransgas enterprise. Earlier, it was said that Moldovagaz paid in full the loan of 1.05 billion lei received from Energocom in October 2022. However, Energocom pointed out that Moldovagaz still had to pay interest rates on this loan worth about 80 million lei. Under this loan, Moldovagaz pledged all assets comprising the gas transmission network, as well as 100% of Moldovagaz's share in the authorized capital of Moldovatransgaz.
