In Moldova, petroleum product stocks have stabilized in recent weeks, now amounting to 21 days of gasoline consumption and 11 days of diesel fuel - the Ministry of Energy
Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu announced this, noting that, at the same time, the global and regional situation remains unstable, requiring the authorities to remain extremely vigilant. This necessitated the introduction of a high-alert regime in the energy sector after the lifting of the state of emergency. "The situation in the Middle East requires our vigilance. We have noticed over the past two weeks that petroleum product stocks in the country have stabilized. As of today, we have approximately 21 days' worth of gasoline and 11 days' worth of diesel fuel. At the same time, the situation in the Middle East is unpredictable. We expect the restart of the third refinery in Romania, which would further stabilize the regional market, but we still need to be vigilant and maintain a certain level of preparedness to avoid being caught off guard,” said Dorin Junghietu. // 22.04.2026 – InfoMarket.
