For 10 months of 2021 the Customs Service transferred 22.8 billion lei to the state budget, which is 27% more than in the same period last year.
As reported by the ministry's press service, in October alone, the amount of deductions amounted to 2.6 billion lei, which is 29.4% more than in October last year and 24.2% more than in October 2019. In August CS registered 274.9 thousand state border crossings. The most demanded checkpoints were customs points in Leuseni (67.4 thousand crossings) and in Sculeni (50.9 thousand). CS specialists processed over 56.4 thousand customs declarations and registered 857 cases of violation of customs legislation. The most common violation is exceeding the period of stay of vehicles with foreign numbers on the territory of Moldova. Recall that such vehicles, declared by their action in the regime of temporary admission to the country, cannot stay in the country for more than 80 days within 12 consecutive months.// 02.11.2021 — InfoMarket
