The National Road Transport Agency and the National Roads Administration are strengthening their cooperation to improve road safety
The heads of the two agencies, Ștefan Popa and Ina Angheliuc, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at improving road safety, modernizing infrastructure, and enhancing data exchange between the agencies. The document provides for the coordination of actions to prevent traffic accidents, strengthen oversight in the field of road transport, and develop road infrastructure, including through the integration of information systems. The parties will jointly participate in road safety inspections, exchange technical documentation, and draft recommendations on infrastructure projects. The agreement also covers cooperation in the operation of vehicle weighing systems and the development and maintenance of truck parking facilities.
