As noted in the report of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), the energy regulator requested this information in the context of the preparation process for the approval of regulated prices for the supply of natural gas by Moldovagaz. It is emphasized that currently ANRE is studying all the relevant information on this issue in strict accordance with the Pricing Methodology for the supply of natural gas. In order to correctly assess the data, ANRE asked Moldovagaz to submit additional information and calculations on cost items and the evolution of the purchase price for natural gas for 2022 for verification. After observing all transparency procedures in the decision-making process and completing public consultations, ANRE will officially announce the date of the public meeting for consideration and making appropriate decisions. At the same time, ANRE checks the calculations presented by the license holders in order to revise the tariffs for heat supplied to consumers by license holders for the production, distribution and supply of heat, as well as prices for electricity produced by combined heat and power plants and prices for electricity supplied by the central electricity supplier, Energocom, approved on November 20, 2021. These decisions must be approved by the Administrative Council of ANRE in accordance with the provisions of the Commission for Emergency Situations of Moldova, which obliged ANRE to adopt preliminary prices and tariffs with legal derogations from the existing procedure, provided that they are subsequently revised in accordance with the current rules. // 10.12.2021 - InfoMarket.
