
Transit of natural gas to Moldova through the Ukrainian gas transportation system in November 2021 amounted to 334 million cubic meters, which is 89.8% more than in the previous month.
According to the data of LLC "GTS Operator of Ukraine", the supply of natural gas to Moldova through the territory of Ukraine in November this year increased, compared with October, by 89% - up to 334 million cubic meters, after the conclusion of a new Russian-Moldovan gas contract and against the background of restrictions on gas supplies in the previous month. In general, for 11 months in 2021, the transit of natural gas to Moldova through the Ukrainian gas transportation system amounted to 2 billion 783 million cubic meters, up about 7% compared to the same period in 2020, when these volumes amounted to 2.6 billion cubic meters. As InfoMarket agency reported earlier, supplies of Russian natural gas to Moldova in October 2021, in transit through Ukraine, amounted to 176 million cubic meters, down 9% compared to the same period in 2020. In general, Russian natural gas supplies to Moldova in 2020 amounted to 3 billion 047 million cubic meters, up about 5.4% compared to 2019.
