The prices for gasoline and diesel fuel, set by ANRE, continue to fall significantly, and they will decrease this weekend as well.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported this, noting that, in particular, it set the following maximum retail prices for basic petroleum products of the standard type for December 4-6 as follows: COR 95 gasoline - 20.33 lei / liter (-0.15 lei); diesel fuel - 17.47 lei / liter (-0.13 lei). As noted by ANRE, the decline in quotations for oil products on the international market during November continues in early December, and these trends are accurately reflected in the prices set daily by the energy regulator of Moldova. Thus, during the specified period, the maximum price for COR 95 gasoline decreased by 1.55 lei per liter, and for standard diesel fuel - by 1.33 lei per liter. At the same time, the increase in the exchange rate of the national currency against the US dollar affects the level of fuel price reduction. As a reminder, since September 1, ANRE has been regulating prices only for A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel without a commercial name. At the same time, retail sale of basic petroleum products of the standard type at filling stations at a price exceeding the maximum price set by ANRE is prohibited. Each filling station can set prices for other types of fuel independently. Petrol stations are allowed to retail other types of basic petroleum products, except for those for which ANRE sets maximum prices, only on condition that basic petroleum products of the standard type are sold at the same petrol station. // 03.12.2021 - InfoMarket.
