The price of A-95 gasoline in Moldova fell below the level that existed on the date of the introduction of the new pricing rules for basic petroleum products of the standard type by ANRE.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported this, noting that for tomorrow, December 10, ANRE set the following maximum retail prices for basic petroleum products of the standard type as follows: gasoline A 95 - 20.04 lei / liter (-0.07, compared to the previous day); diesel fuel - 17.12 lei / liter (-0.09). As ANRE stressed, the price of A 95 gasoline fell below the minimum level set earlier in early September. This is the lowest price for standard type gasoline set by ANRE since the last amendments to the Law on the Oil Products Market came into force. Recently, the maximum price for A 95 gasoline has decreased by 1.84 lei per liter, and for standard diesel fuel - by 1.65 lei per liter. As a reminder, since September 1, ANRE has been regulating prices only for A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel without a commercial name. At the same time, retail sale of basic petroleum products of the standard type at filling stations at a price exceeding the maximum price set by ANRE is prohibited. Each filling station can set prices for other types of fuel independently. Petrol stations are allowed to retail other types of basic petroleum products, except for those for which ANRE sets maximum prices, only on condition that basic petroleum products of the standard type are sold at the same petrol station. // 09.12.2021 – InfoMarket
