The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) informed that, imports of gasoline in January-September 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, increased by 18.4% - up to 133 thousand 073.44 tons, diesel fuel - increased by 5.8% - to 460 thousand 993.36 tons, and liquefied gas - decreased by 0.8% - to 44 thousand 916.73 tons. According to ANRE, as of the end of September 2021, licenses for import and wholesale of gasoline and diesel fuel was owned by 21 companies (in the same period of the previous year - 21), and licenses for the import and wholesale of liquefied gas - 12 companies (in the same period of the previous year - 13). As of the end of September 2021, 86 license holders were involved in retail sales of gasoline and diesel fuel (89 in the same period of the previous year), and 74 license holders were registered in the retail of liquefied gas (77 in the same period of the previous year). In general, as of the end of the third quarter of 2021, there were 193 licensees for trading in petroleum products on the market (as of the same period of the previous year - 200). During the first 9 months of 2021, ANRE issued a total of 20 licenses for activities carried out in the oil products market; 14 licenses were renewed for the next 5 years. According to ANRE, 709 certified gas stations operate on the territory of Moldova, of which 514 trade in all three types of fuel, 152 - only gasoline and diesel fuel, and 43 - only liquefied gas. Earlier ANRE reported that about 67% of the total number of petrol stations in the country belong to 6 companies: Lukoil Moldova (it has a share of 17% of the total), Petrom Moldova - 13%, Rompetrol Moldova - 11%, Tirex Petrol - 11%, Datario - 10% (trade name Vento) and Bemol - 5%. // 14.12.2021 – InfoMarket
