The tariff for electricity for household consumers served by Furnizare Energie Electrică Nord (FEE Nord) may increase by 50.3% - up to 3.06 lei per 1 kWh.
This is provided for by the company's calculations of a new tariff for the supply of electricity, which FEE Nord has submitted for consideration to the National Agency for Energy Regulation. In particular, the company Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord (FEE Nord, Balti), which serves consumers in the northern and northwestern regions of the country, proposes to increase the cost of electricity for FEE Nord end users connected to the low voltage (0.4 kV) distribution grids by 50.3% - from 204 to 306.6 bani per 1 kW / h, and for FEE Nord consumers connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kV), by 71.7% - from 143 to 245.6 bani for 1 kWh. According to FEE Nord, the need to revise tariffs is caused by an increase in the purchase price of electricity, in accordance with existing contracts with suppliers and producers, the company's costs for the delivery of electricity, as well as rising inflation, the presence of negative tariff deviations in 2021 in the amount of more than 33 million lei. The company predicts that in 2022 the purchase price of electricity will be 1.89 lei per 1 kWh against 1.06 lei in 2021. It should be noted that the last adjustment of electricity tariffs for Furnizare Energie Electrică Nord end-users was made by NAER on 26 January 2021, when it was decided to reduce the electricity tariffs for FEE Nord end-users connected to low voltage distribution networks (0.4 kV) by 10 bani (-4.7%) from February 1, 2021 - from 214 to 204 bani per 1 kWh, and for FEE Nord consumers connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6;10 kV) by 14 bani (-8.9%) - from 157 to 143 bani per 1 kWh. // 24.01.2022 — InfoMarket.
