
Electricity tariffs for residential consumers of Premier Energy will increased by 43% - up to 2.16 lei per 1 kWh without VAT.
This is provided for by the published draft of the relevant resolution of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), which the energy regulator plans to approve at its meeting on February 16. According to the document, in particular, for Premier Energy's end-users, whose electrical installations are connected to low-voltage distribution networks (0.4 kV), it is proposed to increase the tariff for the supplied electricity by 43% - from 151 bani per 1 kWh to 216 bani (excluding VAT). For Premier Energy consumers connected to medium voltage networks (6; 10 kV), the tariff can be increased by 47.2% - from 125 to 184 bani per 1 kW / h, and for those connected to high voltage networks (35; 110 kV ), by almost 50.9% - from 114 to 172 bani per 1 kWh. The ANRE resolution will take effect from the day of its publication. Earlier, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Regulation Veaceslav Untila noted that electricity tariffs in Moldova for end consumers will be increased in two stages. The next stage of electricity tariff increase is expected after April 1, when a new contract for the supply of electricity will be signed, its new purchase price and the amount of negative deviations of electricity distribution companies will be known.
