Electricity supply and distribution tariffs have increased in Moldova starting April 1.
According to ANRE Decision on regulated prices for electricity supply by Premier Energy, for residential consumers connected to low-voltage (0.4 kV) distribution networks the tariff for electricity supplied increased by 43.7% - from 1.51 to 2.17 lei per 1 kWh (excluding VAT). For Premier Energy consumers connected to medium voltage networks (6; 10 kV) the tariff increased by 48.8% - from 1.25 to 1.86 lei per 1 kWh, and for those connected to high voltage networks (35; 110 kV) - by 51.8% - from 1.14 to 1.73 lei per 1 kWh. Electricity at the entry points of Premier Energy transmission network is supplied since April 1, at a tariff of 1.57 lei per 1 kWh (+60.2%), and at the exit points - at 1.71 lei per kWh (+56.7%). At the same time, the electricity tariff for residential consumers served by Furnizare Energie Electrică Nord increased by 23% - from 2.04 to 2.51 lei per 1 kWh (excluding VAT), and for FEE Nord consumers connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kV) the tariff increased by almost 33% - from 1.43 to 1.9 lei per 1 kWh. The tariff for electricity supplied by FEE Nord at the entry points of transmission networks was increased from 1.01 to 1.57 lei (+55.4%), and at the exit points of transmission networks - from 1.15 to 1.72 lei per 1 kWh (+49.7%). In addition, since April 1, tariffs for electricity distribution services have risen. Thus, Premier Energy Distribution company's tariff for the distribution of electricity on high-voltage power grids (35; 110 kV) increased from 2 to 3 bani per 1 kWh, for medium-voltage power grids (6; 10 kV) - from 13 to 16 bani per 1 kWh, for low-voltage power grids (0.4 kV) - from 39 to 47 bani per 1 kWh. Thus, the growth of tariffs was 50%, 23.1% and, respectively, 20.5%. At the same time, RED Nord's tariff for electricity distribution service for medium voltage (6; 10 kV) power grids decreased by almost 43% - from 28 to 16 bani per 1 kWh, and for low voltage (0.4 kV) power distribution grids - decreased by 14.6% - from 89 to 76 bani per 1 kWh. // 01.04.2022 - InfoMarket
