
The average price of gasoline imports to Moldova in 9M 2021 increased by 47.9% in US dollar terms - from $510.6 per ton in January to $755.4 per ton in September.
Such data are given in the report of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) on the imports of petroleum products in January-September this year. As noted, in January this year the average price of gasoline imports into our country amounted to $510.6 per ton, in February - $544.4 per ton, in March - $630 per ton, in April - $650.4 per ton, in May - $679.1 per ton, in June - $688 per ton, in July - $739.4 per ton, in August - $750 per ton, and in September - $755.4 per ton. At the same time, in terms of MDL, the average price of gasoline imports to Moldova increased by 47.4% in the first 9 months of this year. In January 2021 it amounted to 9051 lei per ton, in February 2021 - 9650 lei per ton, in March 2021 - 11168 lei per ton, in April - 11693 lei per ton, in May - 12053 lei per ton, in June 12211 lei per ton, in July - 13331 lei per ton, in August - 13294 lei per ton and in September - 13338 lei per ton. The main factors that led to higher import prices for the main petroleum products and liquefied gas in January-September this year are the price increases in the regional stock exchanges on the background of the higher demand for fuel amid economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. // 21.12.2021 - InfoMarket
