ANRE launched the e-Carburanți electronic platform for monitoring prices for petroleum products in all regions of Moldova.
According to the energy regulator, in particular, with the help of this interactive map, the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) provides public access to information on prices for standard petroleum products and liquefied gas, determined by license holders. They can be selected for each gas station or its location address, with the option to sort the data by lowest price by locality (district, municipality/city) or by oil company name. As a result, consumers can determine in real time the gas station in a particular geographic area that sells a certain type of petroleum product at the most affordable price. Thanks to the e-Carburanți platform, consumers can find out that, for example, in Chisinau, the lowest price for gasoline A 95 and diesel fuel is offered by gas stations near Bacioi. In the north of the country, the cheapest gasoline and diesel fuel can be found at a gas station in Glodeni. In the south, the cheapest petrol could be bought on the M3 national road near a village in the Cimislia district, and the cheapest diesel fuel could be found at a gas station in Cahul. Information on the e-Carburanți platform will be updated every business day, reflecting fuel prices at gas stations. According to ANRE, in this way, the prices operated by oil companies will become completely transparent, and any citizen will be able to make a choice in favor of the station that offers the most favorable fuel prices. This instrument will stimulate competition between operators and facilitate the transition to a truly free market in the oil sector. // 02.02.2022 – InfoMarket
