There are no problems with oil products in Moldova, there are sufficient fuel reserves, but companies were instructed to increase fuel volumes for the future, while taking into account the situation in Ukraine - ANRE.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported this, noting that the energy regulator checked the information disseminated by some media that long queues had formed at some gas stations for refueling cars, and stressed that these reports were not true. “The reliability of the supply of our country with oil products is constantly maintained. The actual reserves of oil products are currently at a level comparable to previous periods,” the ANRE said in a statement. At the same time, given the situation in Ukraine, the agency called on companies operating in the oil products market of Moldova to take the steps necessary to implement, as a matter of priority, the entire set of measures to ensure reserves for a longer period than at present, and to identify alternative sources of fuel supplies, which could be activated if necessary. ANRE has created a mechanism for daily reports on available stocks, on the basis of which it monitors changes that occur, cooperating on this issue with government agencies. ANRE also reminded that most of the oil products are imported into our country from Romania. // 25.02.2022 - InfoMarket.
