Moldovagaz has not received any official notifications from Gazprom and the GTS Operator of Ukraine on the limitation of natural gas supplies to the interconnection points in Alekseevca and Grebeniki.
The chairman of the board of Moldovagaz, Vadim Ceban, wrote about it in his telegram channel, noting that gas supplies to Moldova are carried out in the normal mode. "As the head of Moldovagaz, I will continue to inform consumers and other stakeholders on the development of this situation," Vadim Ceban said. It should be noted that the GTS Operator of Ukraine stated the previous day that it stops the transit of gas to Europe through the Sohranivka gas metering station in Luhansk Oblast, which is seized by Russian troops, due to force majeure circumstances. At the same time, it was stressed that in order to fulfill the transit obligations to the European partners in full and according to the terms of the contract, it is possible to temporarily transfer the unavailable capacities from the physical connection point "Sohranivka" to the physical connection point "Sudzha", which is located on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Gazprom's official representative Sergey Kupriyanov confirmed that the Russian company had received a notice from the Ukrainian GTS Operator about the termination of transit through Sohranivka due to force majeure circumstances. However, Gazprom said it had not received confirmation of force majeure and also assured that Ukrainian specialists "calmly worked" at the Sohranivka gas metering station system and that transit was ensured in full. "The transfer of volumes to the "Sudzha" gas metering station, based on the Russian flow chart, is technologically impossible," Kupriyanov said. // 11.05.2022 - InfoMarket
