The National Agency for Energy Regulation has begun accepting applications for confirmation of the status of an eligible producer and the allocation of quotas for electricity at fixed tariffs produced from renewable energy sources.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation has begun accepting applications for confirmation of the status of an eligible producer and the allocation of quotas for electricity at fixed tariffs produced from renewable energy sources.

According to NAER, in particular, we are talking about applicants with projects based on solar energy. The procedure for applying and confirming the status of an eligible producer is carried out in strict accordance with the Regulations on the confirmation of the status of an eligible producer and on a first-come-first-served basis. It is noted that already today 135 applicants gathered in front of the NAER office, standing without forming a queue, which complicated the process of establishing the registration procedure. In this regard, it was decided to draw lots between those who came to determine in what order they would be registered. The whole procedure was carried out under video and audio recording. Applicants who came after the draw were registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will continue to be accepted until the status of an eligible producer is confirmed for the maximum quantity allowed by law. After registration in the Register of incoming correspondence, within 30 days, NAER, together with the relevant state institutions, will begin the procedure for checking the attached documents and the compliance of the submitted applications. Based on the results of which, a decision will be made on confirming the status of an eligible manufacturer to the applicants. All information on the procedure for confirming the status of an eligible producer is available on the NAER website in the Renewable Energy section. Additional information and clarifications can be obtained by calling (022) 823 907 and (022) 823 934. // 15.04.2022 — InfoMarket
