This was stated by the chairman of the Romanian Competition Council, Bogdan Chiritoiu, at a meeting in Chisinau with the leadership of the National Agency for Energy Regulation. During the meeting, a number of topical issues were considered. The parties discussed cooperation between the national energy regulator and the competitive environment in Moldova. In the context of the application for membership of Moldova in the European Union, the Romanian side noted its readiness to provide the necessary support for the entry of NAER into the EU Agency for Cooperation of Regulators in the Energy Field - a European institution that coordinates cooperation between national authorities in the energy sector and monitors the preservation of their full independence.
